Welcome to Friendly ("the App"). By accessing or using the App — on the web at cam-connect.net or our iOS/Android app — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Friendly is a social networking application that helps people in Cambodia and beyond connect, communicate, and build relationships. The App includes profile discovery and matching, direct messaging and group rooms, a peer-to-peer marketplace for buying and selling, live location sharing with family and friends, and community features.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
You may register using Google, Telegram, or an email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
You agree not to:
Buying and selling through the Marketplace feature is a core, permitted part of the App — this section is about abuse, not about listing items for sale in good faith.
Friendly's Marketplace connects buyers and sellers directly; it does not process payments, verify listings, or hold funds. Any payment (including via a seller's KHQR code) happens directly between buyer and seller, at their own risk. We encourage meeting safely and verifying items before paying. Friendly is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any transaction between users.
Live location sharing with family or friends is entirely opt-in. By enabling it, you agree that the specific people you share with will be able to see your live position until you turn sharing off. You are responsible for only sharing your location with people you trust.
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting content, you grant Friendly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
The App relies on third-party infrastructure — including Supabase, Cloudflare, Telegram (if you choose to sign in with it), OpenStreetMap, and Giphy — to operate. Your use of any third-party sign-in option is also subject to that provider's own terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Friendly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any dispute arising from a Marketplace transaction between users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
